The best way to enjoy the festival is by being on a team. Here is what you need: 

20 paddlers (friends, family, colleagues, etc.)

1 drummer  

Each team will designate a captain to coordinate the team. This person can be either a paddler or the drummer, who sits at the front of the boat. 

So check with your co-workers, friends, gym buddies and family. Our last festival had 24 teams. 

As you form your team, keep in mind that all team members have to be at least 15 years old. 

The registration fees, which cover the cost of bringing the dragon boats and race personnel to town are: 

Corporate teams $1,300 

Community teams $1,000 

Established Club teams $850 

Too much you say? These prices work out to approximately $38-$49 per team member. About the cost of a round of golf or softball tournament. Given the free practice/training session, the Friday night kick-off party, and a full day of outdoor fun and festivities, these prices are a bargain.

Our top 4 fundraising teams will compete in a special race, the winner of which receives a special trophy, bragging rights and FREE team registration in the 2024 festival!
